La Santoreggia (Satureja hortensis) è una pianta aromatica molto diffusa in Italia. Appartiene alla famiglia delle Labiateae, una pianta che nasce spontaneamente nelle zone del Mediterraneo. Il profumo delle sue foglie ha un odore molto gradevole e ricorda un mix tra limone e timo.
In cucina è ottima per aromatizzare carne, pesce e verdure. La santoreggia può essere utilizzata anche sotto forma di tisana e infuso.
