L’Erba Cipollina è caratterizzata da foglie aghiformi che hanno un sapore che ricorda quello della cipolla, pur essendo molto più delicata. Il suo nome deriva dal celtico, Allium, che significa caldo bruciante. È classificata nella categoria del porro, della cipolla e dell’aglio ed è un’erba aromatica apprezzata fin dall’antichità. Molto comune è l’uso dell’erba cipollina come guarnizione.
